Reflection about cultural communication
I learned from cultural communication that adapting to a new, different culture can bring many challenges. There are many different languages in the world, which can be completely different from each other (for example different letters and pronunciation). Social life is different in different cultures. Some countries are more social than others and people need socialization more in their lives. People come from different backgrounds and employment opportunities in another culture can be a positive or negative surprise. Jobs in different countries can be very different depending the standard of living. People can have their own personal needs related to the culture, which are not important to someone from another culture, such as religion, clothing, routines. W hat I consider when meeting a client from another culture: I am open and want to talk to them, so I can get to know them better.
